Put a new Momo gear knob on the HSV.. and well, wow, it is amazing how different it feels to the standard HSV one.. And well, it is off a ford too.. but don't go telling eh-rob about it.
Will post pictures once I get a chance to take on in the 5 minutes of daylight we are getting up here in the far far far far north.

I thought if you took the knob out of a F**d then there's nobody left to drive it.

How did that fit mate? I thought it was a special press fit on the shaft, not a threaded one?

Dropped it off to a bored mechanic, and he sorted it out for me.. Think it is squished in with a bit of rubber, mind you she ain't going anywhere.. It is very sturdy...

I was going to do it, but don't have alot of time at the moment, and the mrs wants to drive the car.

Yeah, she loves the monaro more than me..
