Can anyone tell me where I can get a tyre repaired after getting a screw in it,tyres are fairly new and over £200 each, I have been told some people can vulcanise the tyre? any suggestions where in Leeds/ Wakefield/ Castleford? Paul
just about any tyre fitters can do this provided it's not too near the sidewall, or indeed through it. I've had a few done over the years, and have even trusted the likes of ATS or Kwik Fit with it and had no problems.
its about an inch from tyre shoulder, never had one repaired before, but these tyres too new to waste if can be repaired, not being tight, just doing my bit for landfill and the enviroment obviously
There is a tyre place on Potternewton Lane (near Scotthall sports centre, LS7) who will be able to repair it if its repairable - can't remember the company name, but the guy is called Simon tel: 07968 133850
