My radio hisses so much I can't hear it with the rear heated screen turned on. No doubt, the aerial for the radio is fitted into the glass elements, but is this normal or has a device failed somewhere.
I'd be interested to know what others with an E46 are finding!
You must have a bad connection somewhere, mine is not affected at all. If there is a duff connection onto the screen there may be some interferance. Probably.
There is a radio signal amplifier usually mounted behind the C pillar trim, they sometimes have a poor earth or a loose aerial lead contact but the most common fault is a high resistance at the rear screen.
