Wiring from chassis to bonnet

Some time ago i read a post from somebody that had installed a plug and socket arrangment to the wiring which lead from the chassis onto the bonnet electrics, despite a search I am unable to find the posting.
Does anybody on here remember what type and where the plug and socket came from.

Sureseal sockets are good and a friend who makes wiring looms for a living recomends them as a cost effective solution for this type of application.

Thats where I got mine, did you notice that you can buy spare pins & sockets, they're only pence and are worth having in case you want to modify anything later on. Not trying to tach you how to suck eggs etc but I would recommend you have some soldering flux handy and "tin" all the terminals first, it will make life much easier in the long run.

Superseal connectors are good for the price....used them on the Tuscan....but boy are they fiddly !

Looked at the superseal ones in the RS components book, however the ones from auto spark have turned up and look very good for the money.
