Space at Karting Nord by 3pm Thursday?

Hope people don't mind me asking inane questions while I sort my plans for next year!

A quick question for people who were at Karting Nord this year - was it still easy enough to find space for a 2 or 3 cars and associated tents etc by late Thursday afternoon? We were at Beausejour last year (which was fine) but I fancy going back to Karting Nord again - but I'm worried that with Houx Annexe closing etc this year it could be a bit packed by the time we arrive.

In 2006 we took a different ferry and were there for lunch, and it was difficult enough to find spaces then where you could still get the cars out.

Any thoughts?

I honestly wouldn't bank on it. We arrived about 3pm on Wednesday and the outside of the fields were pretty full but the centres were available. These soon filled up. As long as you're prepared to squeeze in an not have the biggest plot in the best place you might be ok.

But I'd aim to get there earlier if possible.

We stayed in Karting Nord last year got there about 9am and there was alot of space there we had four tents & three cars but come midday it soon filled up so if you need spaces for three cars and tents then get there as early as you can ok because your end up with the pitches that get water logged if we have the same weather as last year ....i pray we dont..all tho it did make for a good race

Thanks again. I don't think we'll get there in time to get a good spot on Karting.

I think I'll be after the same pitch we found at Beausejour then - sheltered, well drained and with a private access road out on the Sunday

KN was pretty packed by Thursday lunchtime, there were spaces for 1 or 2 cars but certainly not 4 in a group.

Yeah we squeezed in on Thursday, was busy though. We're trying to get tickets at Karting Nord again, but without much luck at the mo. We'll be heading out Monday night this year via the tunnel. Last year we took the ferry from Portsmouth which was great, but it's just sooo ££££
