Replacing a cracked lcd screen
Discussion
Hello,
As the title states really. Is it a hassle to replace an lcd screen in a digital camera? The camera is a samsung s700 digimax and still works fine.
To buy a new one would be about £100, I've seen damaged cameras for sale for spares and wondered whether it's a tricky job. I can't seem to find instructions on the net, but I imagine it to be fairly straight forward.
Thanks
ETA Would it also be possible to replace the screen with a screen from a different model if it's the same size. E.g. the screen from an s600 instead of s700?
