interior trim parts

Trying to find a replacement lower centre console assembly for my 996 (the cd storage area complete with the leather side cheeks...graphite grey). A previous owner had obviously had a bodged car-kit screwed down(why would you want to do this, OK, if it was a rep's Mondeo, I could understand).

I had a horrendous quote from my local OPC to replace it all (£175...just for a single (very thin) leather side pad!!!!)

I phoned a few independant part specialists but no joy, they said you could only get this from an OPC. Also tried the breakers yards....again, no luck.

Any other suggestions?

BTW, while I'm here....has anyone retro-fitted one of the new 3 spoke steering wheels with air-bag. Where did you get it from, how much etc.
