I need some clarfication re: using companies stock and how to account for it.

Now I make jewellery and to 'advertise' it the missus (also a director of the company) wears what we make. Now, does this stock/price/materials have to be accounted for in some specific way or can it just be used from the 'reasonable wastage'? Any thoughts please.

Thanks

They are demo copies. Still company assets.

Thats what I would do anyway.

If the "personal" use of the assets can be justified as advertising the business "wares", then there should be no tax implications. However, if the personal useage is genuinely personal, then there could be a Benefit in Kind tax charge arising.
