Does anyone know how you can check the engine mounts on my Tamora and how many there are so I can be sure I have checked them all? My cars due to go in to London TVR for a check up on Monday but I want to do some driving this weekend and someone said the rattle/grating noise I've picked up (hence its visit to the garage) could be an engine mount that’s packed up. I've checked the two that are easy to find (to my recollection from last night I think they were on the off side) but where are the rest? Also does anyone know where the catalyst sits?

Cheers

The ones most likely to go are on the n/s near the exhausts. In fact, it is the heat that normally kills them.
