I'm just wondering if anyone out there can help me. I've got an alfa 156 1.8 T spark in a really nice deep metalic grey colour & my friend has offered me some OZ 17" alloys in the same colour off a subaru imprezza P1. The fittings are both the same(5 nuts) but the thing is we tried to fit them the other day but to no joy due to the fact that alfa's seem to have a small protuding piece of metal sticking out about 1". I was just wondering if it is possible to fit subaru alloys onto an alfa romeo & if the little bit of metal is important or could we just take it off to make them fit? Thanks for your help.

Even if the PCD is the same (wheel stud spacing), there is no guarantee that the offset will be the same - as it seems you have found out! Safer to stick with other Alfa wheels (all 147 and 156 wheels will go straight on) or Alfa specific aftermarket wheels.

Good explanation here: http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/tech/techpage.jsp?t...

The PCD (stud pattern spacing) is different on the Alfa (5x98) to the Subaru (5x100) So they wont fit anyway, and the Offset and bore size are also diffferent. As said above your best off looking for a set from another Alfa, or Aftermarket in the correct fitment. smile

Wobble bolts can be used to fit 100pcd wheels to 98pcd but I suspect the centre hole is different and that'll be your problem.
