Hey everyone

i've been lurking but not posting on here recently - its been a very strange year for me work wise - i've come very close to lossing everything from a personal point of view not to mention business and marriage - actually lost the business and had to remortgage my family home but that's a long story!!)

i just wanted to say what I felt..... when I first starting 'lurking' around here 4 or 5 years ago, the regular posters were not the ones I see today however I think the cerbera community is as strong today as it was back then - I rember posting my first 'how much do they cost to run etc...' posts and I'm pleased to see I was greated with the same enthusium as the 'newbee's' are today` -

so.... we really need the 'old guard' to pick up the batton (sorry I dont know you personally but people like Fubar) and continue to carry the candal.

please excuse the typo's but I wanted to get that one of my chest.

Cheers

Gareth

Aye there's a lot of new faces around, and some of the old guard are quieter than usual (SXS where are you when we need to hear another 40-page rant? wink)

What I find interesting is the number of the same guard who are now Cerb-less, yet still on the forum - seems we're a friendlier and more chatty and welcoming bunch than many of the other PH areas. Been without my Cerb for nearly 3 years now, yet not many of you have told me to go away and stop moping! biggrin

Sorry to hear you've had a rough year old bean, hope things are now a little more settled.

True - Jan 02 was my first Cerb purchase. Jan 98 was my first TVR. Been TVRless for some 6 months now.

I only have to travel to Austec to see my own!!

Waiting on a bloody insurance company to OK some repair work after the next door neighbour's kid scratched it. with all this good weather I've a good mind to get it back and enjoy it some more before it goes in for the repair!!

The good news is I now only work 3 days a week (got mondays and fridays off woohoo )so should find some time to drive her before the missus makes me sell.

p.s thanks for the encouraging words!!

Hiya gazm!

Hope that you are looking after my "old" car!
The chim has gone and I'm getting bored with the 330ci (good car though).
Hope that you have a better year
