Heater ECU, Two types???
Discussion
Havign had a dodgy heater plug wiring since having the car, finally got fed up with it. I have sourced the same multi plugs TVR used for the ecu connection, and also a ecu on ebay with no burnt out pins like mine had. Anyway spent the afternoon cutting off the old plug from the loom and wiring up the new one. Abeit with better connections than the TVR build quality ones that cause the short ciruits. Anyway plugged in my nes heater ecu and nothing. Now all the wires are matched to the old plug layout. Thinking the ECu might be a duff one from ebay, but speaking to Bell Hill for another one, he asked "what number is it"? I didnt realise there were different ones. But he said the later ones are wired different, the EBay one is numbered ME 0489, is this a later one?
So can someone with an early tuscan 2000 like mine, tell me the number on their heater ECu and someone with a later one theirs. I assume they changer the wiring lay out to spread out the high current wires or something.
Is their a wiring guide to this loom available too?
Many thanks for any advice.

Thanks, still think mine is a earlier one and a 426 if there is such a one? Just I have a 489 one from ebay and it doesnt want to work, now it may be dead but it looks ok on the circuit board. So im thinking pre 2001 its a different wiring plan which they then changed to try and cure the melting wire problems??
Dont suppose anyone has a wiring plan of the heater ecu loom for the 489 or can look at their colour wires and post them, so i can see if they are different to my 2000 car.
many thanks
