expansion tank

has anyone repaced the ford expansion tank with the sdi/tr7,i beleive it has the same diameter pipes coming out as the radiator/engine and would therefore get rid of all the t pieces and different size pipe work that looks a mess.

I've Replaced mine with a Ali one, but used the same loctation, but its round and has the pipes comming out the other side so it looks neater.
And some and replaced with a Stainless one that fits on the wing.

I managed to get an old capri tank off ebay, not that easy to come by though. If a tr7 tank does fit easily I'd be interested in knowing!

Yes it's on my list to tidy the cables, not sure how I can get shot of hoses though.

Still need to do the CF Lights and dash.
And fit the ali fuel pot and filter. and the the rest on the list on what's happening in your garage.

But been too busy with the support vans and getting parts for the BBWRC.

Allways wondered why it was there.

Was planing to make a nicer looking ali bracket, hence not chopping it off yet.
