Paul Matty is advertising one of the last "Celebration" Giugiaro HC Turbos with only 264 miles from new.

The advert simply says it is Very Very Expensive....

www.paulmattysportscars.co.uk/content/products/cardetail.asp?s_id=245

And there was me thinking that my 24,000 miler was a rare bird.

Go on, buy it. You know it makes sense...

How to tell if it is a celebration model anyway? Aren't there quite a few hundreds of Turbo HC around??

Because it has 2 tone paint, different stripes and the trim is special.

It should also come with fitted luggage and I think there is a plaque on the dashboard.

In my view, the 2 tone paint looks a little odd, but it is certainly the most exclusive G shape Esprit.

Oh yeah~ Didn't notice the two tone colors until now you said it~
Well, my HC has two tone color too~
But I think the previous owner paint it so, the skirts are painted gun-metal silver while the body remains in red~

"Very, very expensive", eh?
I bet it will also be very, very expensive when the new owner has to free every single siezed component and replace every single perishable part!
Apart from the prestige and "wow" factor of owning such a car, the best place for this is another museum.

Wasn't there another limited edition HC Turbo in a (much nicer) laser blue colour, also with fitted luggage?? I'm sure I have seen one or two like that on Autotrader and the likes.

The celebration was that Lotus had made it to 21 years at the Norfolk factory.

I have only ever seen one of these limited edition cars.
