OK, I bought a Cerbera 4.5 and it's like a rocket but I need some help. There's just no way you can explore the limits of a car like this on the road. Anyone know where I can book a track session with a good instructor?

I want to get in a few dozen laps with someone who knows what they are talking about, preferably one to one and it must be a real bona fide certified pro.

Found this thread in the Track Days forum http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

Alternatively, you could do a half/full day with Ride Drive. Teach you fast road driving and (on the full day course) will also take you to a track/airfield so you can stretch the Cerb's legs a bit.

Driver training is THE best 'mod' you can get to make your Cerb qo quicker wink

Find yourself a local airfield trackday - nothing (or not much)to hit if it goes wrong.

I had an hours tuition on my first trackday, cost £50 iirc. The best £50 I have spent, learnt loads.

A freind of mine owns a company www.lambogenie.com and has started doing track day hire cars with his fleet of elises and exiges works out about £1000 per day all in including instructor which is pretty cheap if you get 3 mates to split it with, am doing a day myself on Tuesday at Oulton so will let you know how it goes. You could also give Russ a ring see if he has anything going on in your area or check out his web site. Worth checking the site to see a rather nice collection of motors he has for hire.
