A peek inside an engine

Awesome!
Is it just me or does it still look like there is a really uneven 'wavefront' of ignition?
I know I'm no engine expert but I thought huuuge quantities of modern technology / investment went into evening that up?
(or was it even worse?!)
ahh Dr fish, back from the land of fatty, How much do you weigh now.Is it just me or does it still look like there is a really uneven 'wavefront' of ignition?

did you have a nice time!
Great find!!!
Y'know, that's quite a simple looking combustion chamber there - just two valves when a lot of engines have four these days...
The actual ignition stroke looks pretty ragged as well... everything looks very gassy as well, like the engine isn't up to temperature and not under much load either. (He said with squat all engineering skills above the loosely theoretical...)
Suzuki bikes used to have (maybe still do) a combustion chamber system called TSCC which is/was a much more complex affair with lots of crown and head shaping to allow a very active, turbulent and widespread power stroke...
Regardless of all that - that's one fascinating little video, a testament to modern technology!
Doctor F - did you remember to bring back the sugary rock with 'from The Evil Doctor Fish' all the way through it???

Howdy pardners!

(I'm sure I had a Moll around here somewhere!)
I have indeed brought half of America back with me in my gut and have f**ked my power to weight ratio!

Sorry David - they're not big on sticks of rock over there
Sticks of Dynamite however, you can pick up at any Walmart ...with your bazookas
~(Cue the inevitable Bazookas/Hooters jokes!)
