Fiesta Rear Brake Drum Removal - Question
Discussion
Hi,
I want to check the rear brake shoes on SWMBOs 1.25 Fiesta.
I know the hub nut mustn't be undone and I believe the correct method is to slacken off the brake cable, remove the 4 bolts from behind the brake backplate and pull the whole assembly off.
When I try this the drum comes out about 20 mm, revealing some of the brake shoe, but it seems to be stuck fast at that point.
Am I missing something or can I really apply force to pull the thing off?
Also, what is the torque setting for the hub bolts?
Thanks
