Stoner quicker in FP1 by a healthy margin. Rossi over a second off pace.

What's happened to Kawasaki, they are way down too! Them and the Suzuki's have swapped positions from the last practice/qualys.

I tend to ignore FP1, anyway. You can pretty much guarantee that things will be representative of the race by FP3.

Chaz not riding in FP2 following a big off in the morning. Why so I get the feeling something old and beyond it's useful life broke on the bike.

Stoner quickest in FP2, closely followed by Guintoli who, I suspect, was on a QP tyre smile

According to Sylvan being interviewed by Randy Mamola the qualifying tyre was the one before his last run when he went 2nd then got pushed back to 3rd by Melandri, but his final fastest run was a soft race tyre,

One or Two bones in his hand broken, and a sore back.

He'll not be bare back riding tonight, over at broke back mountain.

It's a rumor that's been doing the rounds for a while, one that I hope isn't true.

Not that it matters which side he bats for, he`s still one of the greatest riders of all time. IMO.

Rossi starting Second last. I wonder where or if he'll finish, if Pedrosa wins I think he'll take Second in the Championship, if Rossi doesn't finish.

Well done, Pedrosa.

Can't help but feel that Rossi might be getting a bit of a sulk on. I daren't say what I really think on here because I don't have any fireproof gear but...

I was pleased to see Padrosa win, but as a Rossi fan I was also pleased to see him give it a go.

Don't worry what anyone thinks of your opinion, as it's only an opinion.

I've got my flame thrower at the ready. hehe

Nice race...Rossi having problems again..I`m sure he`ll bounce back. I`m looking forward to next year now....Capirossi on a Suzuki, Melandri on a Duke, Toesland in there etc...should be great.

clap

lol, the Rossi forum is absolutely hilarious at the moment. I realise nobody on here is a Rossi zealot and that 'normal' Rossi fans do exist, but you should take a peek at this thread from page 45 onwards:

http://www.theyellowcommunity.com/showthread.php?t...

Basically, it's a conspiracy theorist's playground. Apparently, Stoner let Pedrosa win (whilst sacrificing another record) just so Rossi would drop in the championship table. Also, Rossi's bike was sabotaged as the bad luck only ever happens to his bike and not Colin's.

You can see the conflict they were suffering mid-race where they needed Stoner to win for Rossi to hold his position in the championship but how they didn't want him to win because he'd have broken Rossi's records. It really is prize-winning forum bait smile

So they think it had absolutely nothing to do with Pedrosa simply outriding and outperforming everyone else today and showing that Michelin isn't that bad. His big power slides, rear spinning up and total commitment was just his normal cruising speed I suppose.

I wonder what will happen next year when Rossi's solitary Bridgestone clad Yamaha is shown up by the Michelins wink
