Gents,
can anybody tell me where the steering column cowls on my Tasmin 280i 1982 model come from - mine have been broken and have been badly repaired in the past and I would like to replace them - are they from a TR7 or SDI or maybe elsewhere.
Any ideas
Cheers
Ian

On an '82, almost certainly TR7. However if the main lights switch is on the left side of the column instead of on the dash, it's SD1.

I have the main beam , indicators and horn selection on the left hand side with wipers on the right - the light switch is located on the centre console - so I take it from your advice it should be TR7 parts that will do the job. Rimmers have them but want around £22 each for the the top and bottom - seems a lot for the size of plastic involved - any ideas where I might find them cheaper.

You MIGHT find a complete column on Ebay... alternatively there's a couple of Triumph specialists around (one near the Metrocentre in Newc - oops, Gateshead biggrin)
