No chassis. No way of knowing the condition of the engine/gearbox. bonnet and sills smashed to bits, only half the interior.

Looks like a bargain - or not....

For £200 I would seriously consider buying it, canabalising it and scrapping the rest....but £1000....?

I wonder if the owner bought the car cheap and pinched the chassis for his car?

Then again I wonder if he is off his head...."Complete car...er...but...you need a new chassis before you drive it home!"

Chassis is lying up against the wall in one of the photo,s without an outrigger.Come on wheres your sence of adventure a little bit of spit and polish and it will be as good as NEW ????!!!

That engine looks (from the outside at least) like a dog. A very neglected dog.

Also - I don't think that engine came out of that car. See the oil filter? That looks like the standard bucket-sized Granada filter - now that filter doesn't normally fit between the block and the chassis on the S - you have to fit a smaller one (or at least a flatter one) so unless he's changed the filter AFTER he's taken the engine out (aye like you would) then there's maybe something not quite right there.

I reckon the chassis must be cattled due to a front end/side shunt ? look at the Fr N/s bumper and the passengers door sill. ???

I wish it was closer so I could haggle for some bits. Its a shame though to see another S go to the scrappie...
