These would make a nice track bike biggrinhttp://www.slingshotracing.co.uk/newbikes/1.html

I'd look for a damaged bike at auction & fix it over winter, probably save a few quid & i'd prefer an engine that's been used on the road, than a track bike that's been well usedwink

Hmmm, a tad expensive, but also you're also talking to someone who is brain dead at fixing things, and whose tool box is just a set of allen keys!!

Try searching as Racing (not road legal) for one that's already a track bike.

A damaged / repairable could make a great track bike if you don't mind doing a little work on them wink

most have around 7k, i currently have a few telefonica coulored ones and plain blue as well.

mostly 06 bikes and are all road registered with immaculate bodywork as they put track bodywork on them for use at the race school.

some have been down the road but all are straight and they cant send them back to us unless they are 100% ok for road use.

price wise for an 06 600rr in average condition expect a measly 2500

+1 - buy from someone currently racing and where the bike will have the complete history like running hours, refreshs etc etc
