RAC Windscreens.......

Took the car to RAC windscreens yesterday with a very unsure attitude (leave us with the key etc!)and was over the moon with the result next day!
Very nice bunch of chaps and the fitting was 2nd to none. Quailty

Thanks .There are 2 diffrent size screens.
The chap from the RAC who got the screen from the main source (D Gerald) said there was only five ordered from Finland, 1 of which was damaged in transit on the way to me! It was sent back and they sent another screen which is ment to be the last 1 again until the next delivery from Finland. I have waited around 3 months for this one and being told it was the last one, I was Sh!ting it all day thinking it would crack when it was being put in.
Again, they did a cracking job and I have 3yrs warranty.
To top it off, I had a good bit of road + Very cold air + fresh V-Power =
Her A$$ didn't touch the gound all the way down the A30.

Better than the useless tts at Barnstaple then,

I went in about 2 months ago with some stone chips. "Oh you need a new screen, thats delaminating round the edges" fair enough, insurance job.

4 weeks later I went back, they couldnt even remember seeing the car let alone orded anything. They had even lost the photocopy of my insurance docs.

Poped in a few weeks ago, same thing happend, "yeah, you know, the black cerb that you were getting a screen for"

After a few thoughtful seconds, "oh yeah, nargh your screwed mate we can't get um."

Best thing to do is to call David Gerald and do what I did.
KEEP CALLING HIM!
Then keep calling the muppets that are fitting it and also a call to your insurance company wouldn't go a miss to give'em a kick up the arse
What size screen you after?
