No need for apologies Alonso has acted like a complete tw*t this year. He has allowed his latin temperament to potentially ruin his career. Lets face it if you were earning mega 7 figure sums whatever game you are in you would want to protect your interest. LH has has proven himself to have incredible skill and by virtue of that has pi**ed Alonso off. No one likes being beaten especially by your team mate.
In truth I have not watched a single race this year, odd bits here and there. Maybe I am cynical but there was no way that they wanted or would allow a rookie to win a formula 1 championship in his 1st year. There is far too much money envolved. Dear old Oswald opps sorry Max said it himself. They do not want another Schue. Why because people start to switch off or watch another channel. It was a forgone conclusion, advertising revenue falls etc.etc.etc. This happens in many forms of motorsport at far more menial levels than formula 1. Take it from me I have had first hand experience of it and there was not even any money envolved.

It did look very suspicious - keep him out 'til his tyres go off and then have a mystery problem causing him to lose drive for 30 seconds AND bring him in for an extra stop instead of fuelling him to the end of the race in his 2nd(?) stop.....

Without a doubt....Couldn't have McLaren winning drivers title after getting "caught" cheating.
Total fix - gearbox failures dont generally fix themselves
