Friend of mine just bought Aston with push button start.

Can this be fitted to mine ???? who and how much.

Sorry but just like that feeling of replacing the old key starter..

Do you still have to have the key in the ignition aswell?

Yes, for insurance purposes the car must have a key ignition.

I did the same one too but spliced the start button kit into the ignition loom under the steering wheel and it works both with the key and the button.

Do you now not have a rear fog light switch? Or did you fit one elsewhere?

I put the rear fog light switch where the hazard flasher switch was and repositioned the hazard flasher switch near the steering column cowl. The picture doesn't show the repositioned switches, I did that later

I fitted one to the Griff'. David Beer (Modwise) supplied it as part of the hot-start kit. It's handy for when you want to crank the motor over without introducing fuel or ignition as the starter is 'live' without turning the ignition key. The lockout still exists to prevent you turning the starter when the motor is up and running though.

As I understand it the Cerbera does have a small ignition key on the dashboard. The key is normally left in place permanently
