Damper Settings - Front vs Rear
Discussion
Hi All,
I'm after a bit of technical knowledge. I have a Clio 172 (non-cup) and the rear shocks have gone. I'm replacing them today with 172 Cup shocks which I have now been told are slightly stiffer.
Am I likely to notice any difference in the way the car behaves, having a slightly stiffer damper setting at the rear than the front? What would the theoretical difference be?
I was thinking softer front, harder rear, perhaps more likely to oversteer? Or is it the other way around, more likely to understeer?
Yours confusedly....
Iain
