Where do i start?cry Today we have just sold our beautiful Midas gold T350C. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. The Car will be staying in Essex, and the new owner's will be attending meets at the forresters golf club, so i hope the Essex posse will make them welcome.
Diane and i came into TVR ownership over 5 years ago when we purchased our first Tiv, that being a 4.0ltr Giallofly yellow Chimaera. From the very first time we met up with you lot we realised we had joined what must be one of the friendliest clubs we have ever been members of.
Those of you that know us, know why we have sold the car, that being our ambition for the last 25 year to buy and live aboard a narrow boat and tour the complete canal system of the UK, then over to France for for a year or so.
Sounds to good to be true eh? but it has been done loads of times,
I will be on here from time to time, and posting replies to questions related to the T350,as i feel that i can answer loads of queries about this model having lived with the T350c for 4.5 years.
So thanks for all the help and advice i have recieved from PH members over the years.

Good luck, sounds like a slower pace that driving a TVR. You and your car will go down in TVR history after the pictures at the ACE last year. Will this make my 'Still Alive' sticker more valuable. biggrin

I know its sad to see the car go but you will be living your dream & how many people in this world get the chance to do that? biggrin

The satnav & I wish you both well, & I really hope you will come to see us when you can. You must let us know when you make it to France as we plan to be over there quite a bit next year, you never know...we might see you there!

Take care, & please do keep in touch.

Dave,
Best wishes on your travel plans. Don't go too far afield as we may want to pick up some of your great stickers you have made in the past.
Have a great time.

Blimey, a complete change of pace then Valhalla. I regularly skipper my mates 60ft narrow boat, and have just got back now from putting it back into the water after having its bum scraped and painted.
Do keep in touch and let us know how your travels go, and if you're up near Kegworth and need anything be sure to look me up.

Diane and I would like to thank you all for your best wishes on our new venture, we just hope it all works out ok.
Not sure what its going to be like in the winter though, but live aboard narrow boats have all the mod cons that one would have at home.We have hired narrow boats at least 20 times in our 30+ years of marrage, and as we both enjoyed doing so equally,so it would seem to be the right thing to do before we both get much older.
The same goes for our TVR ownership,Diane loves the car as much as i do,and we split the driving right down the middle, though she never once washed it!
We have a list as long as my arm from freinds we have made in TVR circles that want to come and cruise with us.
It was also very nice to hear from Marshal Moore from the TVRCC in the united States, good to meet you at Rockingham earlier this year Marshallbowbow
You mentioned my stickers, well i can still get them made,in fact i have some on E*ay at the moment!
Thanks again Dave & Diane bow

All the best Dave & Diane. It was a pleasure meeting such grand enthusiasts keeping the mark 'Alive and Kicking'. It's a shame, but hopefully you'll be back. byebye

Well done Diane and Dave thumbup

I know how much you want to 'live your dream' and it is a big step to walk away from 'normal' life and actually 'do' it.

Your T350 probably appeared in most editions of Sprint in the last couple of years and I know how much it meant to you.

We will soooooo miss you both when you set off but we have some great memories of our TVRs together on different jaunts and you must hold to your promise of mooring up next to decent b+bs occasionally so we can pop up wherever you are and spend a weekend together.
(No..still not changed my mind...won't sleep on a boat tongue out)

Good luck to a great couple clap
