Laserline Alarm

Hi all
I have an alarm fitted to my S2 it appears to be a Laserline 936, although I cannot find this on the Laserline website. I have emailed them but was wondering if anyone had any information regarding this alarm. Unfortunately when I bought the car there was no info. The alarm is diconnected and if I reconnect it goes off. I need to get the wiring diags so I can try and get it working properly

I haven't fiddled with alarms for years so they may have moved on a bit - but I do know that they always used to go off when you connected the power - you then had to disarm it to shut it up.
If it locks the doors aswell make sure the window is open or you'll lock the keys in the car......

laserline 936 if i remember right is an old thatcham cat 1 alarm.by conecting the power up the alarm will go off until you disarm it with the fob.these were very problematic and if it has been powerd down then suspect its faulty, my advise to you would be to fit a new one. you could spend days trying to get it work.

I've got the Laserline 936 on mine and like you I emailed them for help. They responded pretty quickly and said they would send me a manual and details of resellers where I could get a spare key for the immobiliser, a year on and I'm still waiting! Good luck.

www.bridgwater-electronics.co.uk were excellent in providing a replacement key and the all important re-programming instruction for my old Laserline immobiliser, so they may be able to help out.

Laserline have offered to send all necessary info, we will wait and see what comes.
