Haven't been in the Caterham for a couple of months. She clicked on key turn, a little like the last thread. Took off the battery terminals and trickle charged for 8 hours. Started first time.

Trouble is, the red led no longer comes on. Is there a way to 'reset' the alarm?

Cheers

Pete

Hi Peter, not too sure how to reset the system, but would recommend VSS3 as a viable alternative. Hope this helps.

Come on Pete, you know I don't want to get into my project!!

But go on then since you ask…

About 6 months ago I started a bit of work on my old Peugeot 205. Put in a new engine and was up to 2am most nights putting in the finishing touches to the exterior. Last week was its first real outing at Snetterton and I was lapping around 1 min 14. It really is great - I’m thinking of letting Sean Davis loose in it soon to let him push it to the limits.

I’m trying to organise a 205 only track day. The advantage is that we can give each other enough room and behave in a manner that doesn't put others at risk. Fast peeps can drive fast, (although we all drive pretty fast!!) and slow peeps slow, we all know how hard we worked at getting our cars onto the track.

Respect to 205 drivers everywhere.

1.14 is some going in a Pug.

What weight have you got the car down to now? And what lump did you end up with?

Either that's got some engine in it or that time is a typo! 1min 11 in a Radical PR6 felt pretty quick & faster than the GT3 & F430 slick shod racers, so that time in a Peugoet 205, bloody hell!
