hi i'm getting the leather gear stick gator replaced on my tam whats the suggested way to remove the centre console, just in case the garage decide to rip it off then ask me they dont no how to remove it !!!!!

Dont know the answer, but sure there was a thread on here several weeks ago which explained in full... try a search..

to remove it first unscrew the gearknob and handbrake grub screws under the gaitor to remove handle, then the two phillips head screws at either side of the console, then push the console forward until the rear can be lifted up from under the luggage cover, get your hand underneath and undo the three nuts holding the aluminium handbrake 'surround', pull the handbrake on to allow the console to be tilted forward, up and away.

Before you push the tunnel top forward take out the flip-round ashtray in the storage bowl under the radio headunit and wind down 10mm nut stud that should be up in there holding the front end in place on the storage bowl... then push it forward gently until the tail end clears the weird eyebrow things in a Tam' or the roller bind cover in the T350/Sag'. It might be safer to loosen the, no doubt self-tapping, screws attaching the blind cover in the latter case.

Be careful of the wires to the e'hem 12V DC output. wink
