hold the front page, TVR in bulgaria......
Discussion
well in a magazine anyway! here i am visiting the in-laws in bulgaria, i find myself flicking through various car mags in the local METRO store, to my suprise in a russian car mag i find a 6 page article on TVR!! All about the factory with great pictures. Obviously couldn't read it but just goes to show TVR are at last getting the rest of the world interested ... the only other thing to suprise me more was the dancing bear that just walked in front of me getting to the internet cafe! Oh and the weather is 30+ and beer is 40p a bottle! Have yet to see any TVRs, lots of Ladas and Moskvitch's though. Back to the beach, mark.
Was in bulgaria 2 months ago - weather was amazing, Nice bar at 40p per bottle, mine was more like 18p a bottle. Trams and mobile wheel barrows was about as close as it got to moving vehicles other than the long lines of blacked out 4x4 Mafia vehicles that pulled up outside all the classy bars.
I went to Bulgaria skiing in March, beer was in the region of 90p a pint. (If you have never been skiing before this is a great cheep place to try it out).. anyway back to the point... We were all sat talking one lunchtime and was asked what car I had, when I said a Chimaera the (Bulgarian) ski instructors eyes almost popped out of his head and he immediatly replied "which engine is it?, I like much the sound of TVR V8 but favorate car is Tuscan"!
