Pension tax question

If I have a personal pension pot, can I arrange for some income to be paid direct to my wife from my pension pot, thereby taking advantage of lower tax rate?

Also, if they divorce, she may be entitled to a share as well.

But he can't just hand over a share whilst he is still alive and they are still married.
