Hi,

I am finding the seats in my Griff SE are basically a bit too high so that my head can hit the front of the fold down roof section. This was not a problem in my previous Chimaera but the Tuscan/Cerbera? seats are about 1 inch higher.

If I were rear-ended I would get a bashed head. I don't think the headrest can help unless I can extend it a bit but my question is - can the seats be lowered?

Hi L.F.

There's a thread here that mentions the same problem you have...
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Plus there's a seat fitting guide on The Griffith Pages..
http://www.thegriffithpages.com/

Hope this helps.

Hi Howard,
Mine also felt a lot higher than the original seats in my last griff - you felt like you were sat on the car rather than being part of it,if you know what I mean
The factory removed the spacers from under the seat runners, whilst they were doing some other work, which made a hell of a difference and lowered them quite a bit
Might be worth checking if yours are the same

Since the Earth is too close to my arse anyway, the position of the Cerb seats works well for me...
