Want the impossible - good novice circuit no DB restriction
Discussion
Hi Guys,
I wnat to start doing a few more track days to learn the limits of the Chim in realtive safety along with some proper instruction.
Trouble is mines got a sleeved exhaust and whilst I don't have a db reader i know it runs well over the normal 105 limits of most tracks.
Can anyone recommend and tracks or companies that have a slightly looser regulation when it comes to noise limits?
I also need to try and ensure the tracks and companies are good for novices - last thing I want to do is go out on a fast/comlplicated track with little experience, nor do I want a chav fest such as the annual open day at Castle Coombe.

You are gunna struggle with that noise, if you want to track regually its got to be quiet im afraid, bit boreing but thats life unfortunatly & for max track availability as quiet as you can get it, there are a few 105 db days around but they are expensive & not as prolific as 98db.
For full noise UK wise- only Cadwell that im aware of, arguably not novice ideal, but did me fine as my first proper one many years ago, just go easy in mountain, tho I think Snett is open noise too.

Goldtrack noisy days at Donny or Silverstone are the way to go. I think Brands is 105 static, so pretty loud too.
There's a lot of mixed feelings about days at Brands, but I have been to a couple of MSV org'd OPL days in the last couple of months that have been very good.
Goldtrack always superb!

Stick to a Gold Track event at Donington or Silverstone and you are unlikely to have any problems. There are three coming up between now and mid December that you'll be OK on.
