Cheers Andy,
I should have guessed you'd know that one.
I like the sound of the set up you have got on yours, might be a bit difficult to find the bits though.
Gareth.

Was going to get some driving lights backs done. Too corroded in the end. But, a firm was prepared to do them (drop them in with on of their normal batch jobs and charge a few bob) but they had to be prepared first, cleaned, de chromed or whatever which another firm could do. As in doing them with another customers order and again a few bob charged. My only concern would be the V's and how are they affected by the change in thickness in respect to chucking the belts off. Or does it not matter?
Make any sense?

Could you just polish the existing ones and use clear lacquer?

They are a bit rare by all accounts, ive still had no luck finding a replacement belt for them, I saw a picture of a works SD1 rally car, of all things, fitted with the same pulleys so maybe worth having a look on the SD1 sites.

I have seen a picture of your setup in my Tuning the rover v8 engine book, it was on a TVR race engine.

DJE have them, I found out today. Ally ones. You would have to check size and fixings with him. He couldn't find them so had them made.
