RS4 steering.

Ive had the RS4 for a couple of months and im really happy with most aspects of it..the steering i find a bit vague however and on less the perfect roads i find it tramlines a fair bit and with poorly cambered roads seems to get pulled towards the 'slope' of the road...is this normal or do i need to get the tyres/geometry checked etc.?Its not drastic but i expected the steering to be more positive.
