I understand there is a Brabus chip available for the 320 CDi.

Anyone know about it?

Any experiance of it or know what it gives and how much?

Hi,

It gives an extra 42BHP, and costs £1364 plus fitting at 1.5 hours so should be no more than £1500 all in. We have got an E320cdi with a brabus chip and you can certainly tell the difference; most of the power seems to be delivered towards the top end. I would definately recommend it.

Haven't tried this on a CLS but had a FGA box on a BMW 330d and it was very impressive to the point of giving a few friends with M3's a good run for their money.
No reliability or engines issues over 28000 miles. Basically you unplug a wire from the car and plug the box in-line.
Friend of mine has one on his ML320 CDi which i believe is the same engine as the CLS.
