Proposed ban on bikes in national parks

Im sure he asked for this last year as well..sadly I can see the day where someting like this actually happens, that could well be the thin edge of the wedge to the path of banning bikes full stop..

Tell you what, ban bikes, cars, buses, scooters, push-bikes, horses, lorries and pedestrians - and voila!! Now more deaths or injuries on the roads....

FFS, it's one of the things that p1sses me off most about this country at the moment, everyone's trying to ban everyone else from doing stuff..

Well I am surrounded by a National Park so that would be a tadge inconvenient. I would suggest banning HGVs from them would be more effective, however I agree that in general banning anything is bad.

Sadly due to the complete apathy of the general public (i.e. us) we will probably do nothing about it and let the future of the country be decided by busy-body do-gooders, who have nothing to loose by banning everything because they do nothing interesting anyway.
