Life with the Cerb so far
Discussion
Well, after 7 months and just 1600 miles as my second car, I thought I should share my experiences so far, which TBH, have been mixed.
I have in the last couple of months been toying with the idea of moving on, simply because I haven’t driven the car that much, so my initial feeling of “something different” gone.
But, a recent dry spell has pushed me to using the car a little bit more than usual over the last few weeks, and my confidence in pushing the car that much harder has really surprised me in terms of its performance and handling.
So, what am I saying? Well, I think she’s for keeps…for the forseeable future, and I will possibly look at a remap with induction at some point soon.
The only other niggles being the hand brake and some rather annoying rattles from the interior. Oh, and the after market sports exhaust which knocks on the rear axle.
My daily grind, a nice E60 530d really doesn’t do it for me now, but I’m stuck with that one for the next two years
