Dave Hammerton roofs
Discussion
Few weeks ago stitching failed round the rear window, as it's looking tatty i've decided to have a new roof including targa re-cover.
Been doing some searching on the internet and a guy called Dave Hammerton will be able to supply me a kit and some instructions to fit it myself as it doesn't look too complicated.
Has anybody had a roof from Dave?
And also he claims that the Chimaera roof is identical to the Griffith, can anyone confirm this?

I have just fitted one of Dave's roof to my Griffith 500 and I have to say I am very pleased with the results, in fact it is better than the original even when it was new.
It is completely waterproof.
Patience will pay dividends when doing it yourslf, but the rewards are well worth it.
I am an Engineer by profession and not an upholstry expert so that should give you a clue as to the relative ease of doing it.
Allow yourself a day like me if you are an amateur.
gets my vote for sure.
Cheers
