You could be there...

You may have heard that PistonHeads has launched a new show? It's a small affair with an expected turn out of 75,000 people over the 11th- 13th January 2008.

As it may be a bit tight to hold the event at PH Towers, we have decided to take over a large hall at the NEC to house around 150 show cars along with the best trade stands ever seen, new cars from the likes of Lamborghini and car club P1 will be showing some of their fleet too. Good eh?

As if that wasn't enough one of our exhibitors, Tech 9 Motorsport Limited- sole UK agents for TechArt products, have offered up an amazing prize for PHers. I know many competitions are described as amazing, but this one really is.

One winner will be flown over to Germany and put up in a luxury hotel. The next day, the winner will have a tour of TechArt’s impressive factory where you will see how they develop their performance tuning parts and you will view the range of tuned cars they offer for sale.

It's not shy

If that wasn't enough it’s then off to the Nurburgring where you’ll be treated to three laps as a passenger in TechArt’s latest creation: the GTStreet. These won't be ordinary laps as your pilot is TechArts very own test driver who recently set a 7.32 lap in the same car.

It's no ordinary car either. It's based on a 997 Porsche 911, and is heavily reengineered to produce 630hp thanks to a couple of hefty turbochargers. The exterior also features a bodykit honed in the wind tunnel, and could be yours for a mere £170 grand.

There are two ways to enter this competition, a special text line will be set up at the PistonHeads show in January- pop along to the Tech 9 stand for more details when you are there, or you can enter right now by logging onto the competition website
