Anyone (or know someone) after a very good V8S....?

The time has come to think about selling the V8S, it will break my heart but needs must and believe me Ive explored every avenue to avoid it. A long story but I need extra seats, the usual story, a Cerb may be on the cards, (or a 911 ) so not all bad news, but I am sure Ill still miss the S.

The car is one of the best anyone that has seen the car Im sure would agree, if anyone is interested and wants the full spec email me and Ill send the details. Ill probably put it up or sale towards the spring so plenty of time to sell the V6

It will be an unbelievably sad day when I sell it and someone will get a very well sorted car but I hope it goes to a PHer.

I have still got the Touareg, an extra child is the plan and as I drive the car mostly to and from work in the summer, dropping my son off on the way, with another child I would never drive it. Like I said it will be very hard to sell it and as has been said someone is going to get a peach of a car, but I dont want it to sit in the garage not being used.

Andy yes I am sure that I will mention the TV appearance and the picture in the new History of TVR book you forgot to mention that my car is used in the new EA Sports game 'Burnout 5'

Thanks for all the messages guys, Ill get the spec / likely price over to you when I get time as Im a little busy right now. Didnt expect this kind of reaction so soon as its not up for sale yet and I have 6 people now that are enquiring about the car... which is good news but sad news all the same

Hi Mike, I was speaking to Andy at the NEC Classic Car Show and he gave you a call to check if your car was for sale. Andy certainly sung the praises of your car and said it is in first class condition. I have been wanting to own an 'S' for many years and would love to own a V8S in Mica red. Yes I remember Andy calling me about you, I have been contacted by another guy who has a TR6 who I thought was you, Ive had quite a few calls. I must say the more interest I get the more cold feet I get and I feel like hanging onto it for another year as I cant bare to part with it....

My son is also not happy one night when chatting to a guy interested I told my son and he just said, "cant we sell Mams car"....... he does have a point Then he approached a builder that was here quoting for work and asked sadly "mister are you here to take the TVR away" bless him.

Anyway Ill be making a decision after Xmas and I will be in touch with thise that have expressed an interest to let you all know.

Hi Mike

I can understand your son's sentiment, after looking at the photo's on the S Series website and listening to the audio file of your car both my boys simply said it was awesome, which coming from two teenage lads is a definite thumbs up. Your car certainly looks impressive and it will no doubt be difficult to part with so take all the time you need.
