E34 540 Vs E39 540...

Hi all.

Just a quick question - the earlier E39 540 uses the same 4 litre V8 as the prior model, no?

Is the ECU the same also?

I want to remap/chip the E34 540 and Evolve Your Car don't list the E34 540, but they do list the E39 540...

No I think I'm correct in saying all E39's use the updated 4.4ltr Engine

All E39s use the 4.4 - it's the E38 7-series and the 8-series which were available with both 4.0 and 4.4.
