Porsche Driver tips his Hat to a Yellow Seat ???

Driving home from work yesterday and a Yellow slightly lowered Seat Leon pulled up to my rear. I am one of these guys that knows a bit about what certain cars can do and wither to show them a clean pair of exhausts or not(weather,road conditions permitting though)

We both came to roundabout and just as i was about to floor it and leave this pesky Seat for dead - he undertook me and left me for dead upto say 100 leptons so hats off to a very quick car - Not sure what can be done to these cars but I assume its tuned.

Sounds like it was probably a Leon Cupra R, which in factory form come as either 210Bhp or 225Bhp.... but can both easily be remapped up to around the 265Bhp mark for about £500, just like mine!

Then there are the big-turbo conversions out there that can take them up to over 400Bhp, depends how deep the drivers pockets are!

Hi there,

Just stumbled upon this thread. The fella who owns this Leon Cupra R is a member over on SeatCupra.Net. It was tuned by Jabba Motorsport with an IHI Conversion, Its running around 370 Bhp with 373ft/lbs torque. That explains why he had a play with you!

The tuned car you are referring to lives in the West of Scotland and as described is a serious bit of kit.

Met the owner a couple of times at meets, all round nice guy. If something does manage to beat the LCR he has another 'serious' bit of kit in on his drive! And i've had a go in it!
