has anyone got a spare light control box sitting around??

hi guys, i'm now getting rount to getting some niggles fixed. I've got a minor point where the side/dipped lights are always on. I've bought a new dim/pid box and this didnt resolve the issue so i'm assuming its the other light control box. Does anyone have a spare sitting around that I can borrow to test? or even better sell onto me if this is the issue? I'm just wary of buying in ANOTHER box only to find that the fault is elsewhere. Or is anyone else out near Woodford Green in Essex that I could meet up with for 10mins and do a quick swap test? thanks

I have a spare of both the light control box and the dip box if you dont mind pottering down to Bromley to collect (30-40 mins but you do get the Blackwall tunnel in between as compensation )

and Hugepiece I could meet you too for the light box swap. I am in Southend but can travel - I can hit the M25 in about 20 mins. (assuming traffic lights are all green Officer).

Did anyone ever have the schematics etc for any of the control boxes. There can only be a finate supply surely?

I did some searching around but couldn't find anything. LEVEN did advise me that they have a guy that can normally repair most of the control boxes but it can take some time (couple/few weeks).

I would think that anyone that has a shop repairing T.V,s and the like could repair it.Thats who i use when i have problems.Most of the components could be purchased from RS anyway.

Have you had the dash apart at all? if so try reversing the ribbon cable on the dash light switch, I seem to recall I had something similar on mine and this fixed it
