It'll be a big improvement on the Halfords battery. The Westco is smaller, lighter and more powerful and doesn't produce any metal-eating acid-fumes.

Do you know why the battery went flat? A light left on or just old age?

Probably worth getting the power-drain tested then, just to make sure there isn't something draining the battery which killed the old one. Normal lead-acid batteries do die after a while and can go suddenly like your did but more often than not there is a reason for it to die.
Most tyre dealers can test this for you for nothing.
