Not sleaved, but not entirely standard. I have had some of the wadding removed from the backbox. - Personally I think it sounds awesome.

If you'd like to have a listen, I'll be in the Bristol area over the weekend.

PM me if you'd like a listen.

YHM, had the exhaust sleeve carried out by my local trusted indie, Merv, at Autotune in Barwell, Leics. rotate

Silly Question, What Material did you use for the sleeves.

Are there any instructions on how to do the sleve mod?
I'm still unsure of what is involved. Can anyone explain please?

Will doing the mod affect the way the engine runs? I have a Taraka conversion and do not want to undo the work already done making it quick...

I believe the 'standard' way is cut open the silencer box, inside will be a load of wadding and 2 perf pipes, bin all that, weld in place of the perp pipes 2 plain pipes effectivly making the exhaust 'straight through' weld back up the silencer box (which is now purely cosmetic) and away you go, no idea really on any performance gains or losses, mine doesn't feel any slower but it does sound a lot faster. rotate

Once you have put the solid pipes in place put the wadding back in, it helps to reduce resonance

I've not actually got the silencer box anymore as that splitting open was what prompted the mod, so most of my wadding was covering the diff and the box wasn't in a fit state to weld back up. wink
