Hi Guys,

I need your help on this one. I am seriously considering joining the club for a year but have a couple of reservations. Hopefully you can provide me with some advice because at present most people I have told say it's a waste of money etc.
Obviosuly being a serious petrolhead most of their concerns goes in one ear and out of the other.
My main concern is that I will be driving cars on public roads, that I haven't driven before and will be quite a lot more powerful than I'm used to such as F308, Masterati 3200GT, 911, Z4 M Coupe, Impreza etc. I am also only 22years old!!

Also I will have to live with these day to day, park them and hope that people on my street respect them or I shall be facing a big bill!!
All I can think of is the driving pleasure however I need to be practical because I'm looking to shell out at least £2k for this experience, since leaving student life only a few months ago.
Would you join the club? Save the £2k and buy a fun car to keep? Or maybe postpone the idea and book a track day or something similar?

Thanks in advance,
I look forward to hearing your opinions as I'm seriosuly struggling here!
Adam

22 = heart.

seriously. i'm <gulp> 27 now and can no longer justify throwing money into cars the way i've done for the last 10 years.
