Time to Sell my 90 SE

I would like to say thanks to all of you who have helped bring my car up to date with your recomendations and wise words of advice during my Lotus experience. As things have changed in my life, I now have the opportunity to buy my first house and will be parting with my Black 1990 SE. I have listed it on eBay in hopes of finding it a good home. I only hope the new owner is wise enough to know about the EFF, I would want someone who knows these cars inside and out to have it if possible. Thank You all for your help, it has been a lot of fun. I have never been so attached to a car as I have been with my Esprit. Perhaps I will have one again some day. Best of luck to you all.

Was bored for a bit so decided to have a look at ur car....what a fantastic ebay ad, your esprit looks great, should have no absolutely problem shifting that, 4 bids already as I look at it. I sometimes cringe at ads that quote 0-60 times and top speeds and things like 'eats Porsche 911s' etc, makes the owner sound like a muppet. Hope you get a good price, should do.

Hey Zorro, Thanks for looking. I too get very disgusted at people quoting 1/4 mile and 0-60 times. This is just not what a Lotus is about. I am having second thoughts about letting her go though, I have put a lot of time in on this one, and money, a LOT of money. I know I will not get what I have into it. I have 4 cars total, it is just too many. I will probably have another car up for sale soon on eBay, but it is so hard to let go. No-One ever said growing up and being responsible would be easy. -ryan

keep it. Its worth more to someone who has invested time and heart. KEEP IT!! It may be worth more soon anyhow, ive seen esprit prices holding or creeping up for clean pre 97's

If my reserve is not met, i will be keeping it. It would be hard to let go of this one after the time/effort/money invested. Thanks All!!!
