Just got rid of my car and picked up a 96 'P' Cerbera on Friday night. It's blue, 4.2, sports exhaust. Had a few owners but been cared for by a lady in the TVR Owners Club.
Already done 170 miles going down to Nottingham and back to Leeds. Sounds great, goes like a rocket. Even had kids waving at me as I went past.
Been taking it quite easy as it needs a couple of things done to get it up to spec and I'm sure I'll add a few more things myself (fancy 18" spiders ) It also needs a new set of spring so that might be an excuse to do something with the suspension!!!!!
Saw loads of TVR's on the road when I wasn't an owner but now that I am I haven't seen any others at all.
Only bad moment was when I was stuck at lights on a hill and with the lack of handbrake and not being used to the clutch I stalled the car.

Thanks to all the folk that have been posting on here, I haven't asked much but I've been reading a lot of the posts.

Right, where's the number for Joospeed so I can get some of this work done.

Many congrats on becoming a member of an elite club. Just out of curiosity, how many miles has it covered, and how much did you acquire it for? My reason for asking is that I am currently trying to sell mine.

Happy motoring.

Congratulations!

Same vintage as mine

As for seeing other TVR's, the reason was I think half
the owners in the UK were parked alongside me at Pistonfest

I was actually a bit worried that you had bought the car I was looking at when I saw your descrption on a previous post.

Car was bought private with 35000 miles on the clock for a bit under 18K. Cosmetically it's not the best one I saw but mechanically seems fairly sorted (touch wood) and has had new clutch, radiator and alternator in the last 5K. Just need to get these springs done as that is the main thing that came up on the inspection.
Thinking about one of Julian's deals on that.

Looking forward to a trip to Scotland after that!!!!

Ah, looking at your profile you may have done exactly what I did - swap the TT for a Cerb?

Sorry if I got you worried.

I know the car your bought, so the ads etc. and was
ready to travel anywhere in the UK for the right car.
Luckily, I had 4 excellent offers within an hour of me.

Hope to see you at an event some time, have fun!
