I heard that car was crash and fully rebuilt by Lambo themselves. Ring them and ask to confirm this.

There are plenty of cars with interesting stories from what I saw.

Is this why you off loaded yours Ade, was it another car with history, there seems to be alot of them about with history that isn't too clever.

That's why it hasn't sold then, another one with dodgy history, just waiting on Ade now to see if his was another.

Is there any kind of data base for these cars as surely most of them are known by someone out there.

Sorry to spoil your quest for juicy gossip, but the answer is no. If you had a decent knowledge of the Murcielago market you would know that, so Im guessing your a beginner. Everyone has to start from somewhere, so good luck to you.

I know about the black car and I wanted to add my 2pence for the original poster. It looks like my post added value and helped contribute to the forum.

When i saw it, it wouldn't start, i just had a bad feeling about it and walked away. I did'nt know about the damage as it was said to be in as good a condition as they come (in retrospect a barefaced lie) and the man himself was bordering on rude to me.
People seem to rate LHW but my only good experience of them after several visits was the brief time spent talking to their now ex service manager.

looks like he will be stuck with that car for a long long time unless he dramatically reduces the price even then he will be stuck with it

I had a bad experience with LHW and would not deal with them again.

I have had nothing but good experiances with LHW. In fact they have been miles better then certain other dealers.

They never mentioned that it had been damaged and repaired?

I suppose they dont have to by law but if I was spending over 100k on a car I wouldnt expect to have to do HPI check on it.

note to self. If I win the lottery remember to ask posh car sales people if the car has been damaged

Nope but i go there when work needs doing. They do excellent work, return calls when they say they will, email you back, run events for customers and all their staff are friendly. Its more then i can say for most other places i have been!

OK, I think a few things need to be said here:

1. LHW made some bad service work on my car but came through and reconised the issue and made good without too much fuss

2. 1 of a few dealers to actually do anything with their customers,i.e. trackdays/outings!!

3. Not an official Lambo sales so shouldn't be viewed as such

4. With so limited numbers of cars people will know about cars more, but just how many other marques have dodgy cars but we never actually know cos they are usually all RED... hehe

5. I do think thye should declare issues, but if you don't ask then they don't need to explain unless a cat D/C etc.

6. Graham seems a nice enough chap and like some dealers clearly gets it wrong sometimes, even with me as I tried to buy the black car over 2 years ago and he was poretty rude on the fone but in person the guys a nice guy and willing to usually make himself very approachable which is better than some garages

Mosi, and Jon speak well of him and so do a few others but someone out of here recently viewed the car too and it was terrible to drive and lit up like a christmas tree apparently and limped back to the garage, so seems a regular dog of a car so I don't think he has any worries in it shifting on it's own accord let alone a write up in here.
